The Bluestone team is a firm believer in enhancing people’s lives by giving a hand-up.

 

Below are some of the initiatives in which our team is engaged.

A non-profit autism center dedicated to providing resources for children and their families with autism spectrum disorders.

Founded in 1944, OMSI is one of the nation’s leading science museums with an international reputation in science education. The museum’s mission is to inspire curiosity by creating engaging science learning experiences for students of all ages and backgrounds. OMSI fosters experimentation and the exchange of ideas, and helps the community make smart, informed choices.

Youth Villages has built a national reputation for offering the most effective programs and services to help emotionally troubled children and their families. A private nonprofit organization, we provide a fully integrated continuum of counseling services and programs designed to help children with emotional and behavioral problems overcome their challenges and live successfully with their families. We believe therapy for children should be provided in the least restrictive setting possible, preferably in their own homes.

Janie’s Fund is a philanthropic initiative created by Steven Tyler in partnership with Youth Villages to bring hope and healing to girls who have suffered the trauma of abuse and neglect. Janie’s Fund has two important goals: to bring much-needed awareness to the issue of abuse and neglect of children and to generate financial support to ensure that girls receive the most effective services available to help them overcome the trauma and pain of abuse.

Cascade Pacific Council, BSA guides nearly 8,000 girls and boys in 19 counties of NW Oregon and SW Washington. They offer an unparalleled program that teaches leadership and citizenship through fun and exciting adventures for the whole family

Junior Achievement participates in the education of students in Central Virginia so that each child understands basic personal finance and believes in their potential to succeed in our free enterprise society and in life.

Leadership Metro Richmond works to develop leaders with community engagement.

WCK uses the power of food to heal communities and strengthen economies through times of crisis and beyond.
