Sharon brings over 25 years of project management, process improvement, change management, facilitation and leadership to our clients.

Sharon joined Bluestone Process Dynamics in 2009 from Genworth Financial formerly GE Financial, where she was Privacy and Records Management Leader. She developed programs introducing privacy, compliance, and project management at Genworth Financial. As the Records Management Leader she developed and rolled out innovative web-based training that received the Brandon Hall Research Excellence Award for best custom content in 2008. As the Privacy Leader, she implemented the Gramm-Leach-Bliley and HIPAA Privacy compliance programs. Sharon held several key Information Technology positions before joining the compliance team, including Global Y2K Leader, and Project Management Office (PMO) Manager.

Sharon has taught Project Management for GE Financial, Boston University, Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) and local PMI Chapters. Sharon’s credentials include: Master Black Belt (MBB), Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile SCRUM Master (CSM), and Enterprise Content Management (ECM) certification. Sharon received a B.S. degree in Computer Science, cum laude, from Seattle Pacific University. Sharon has been an active volunteer with the Project Management Institute (PMI) since 1995 in a number of Officer and committee roles. She was President of the PMI Central Virginia chapter in 2007, was on the Board of Directors from 2003 through 2009.
