Roopa earned the SAFe® 4 Agilist certification and possesses other agile certifications including Scrum Master and Product Owner / Product Manager. She has extensive expertise forming/norming and driving large scale global program implementations and she has direct experience building and leading program management office functions and enterprise agile transformation initiatives.
Roopa has held technology positions in companies and universities that include Schering-Plough, Merck, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Slalom Consulting, and Laureate Education. Through her career, she has enabled adoption of new delivery practices; managed organizational change; orchestrated large-scale programs by identifying and managing cross portfolio dependencies, coordinating solution delivery, team workflows and dependencies; recovered troubled projects; identified, developed, and nurtured talent; and enabled new roles for digital business.
Roopa holds a M.S. in Information Management from Stevens Institute of Technology and a M.Ed. in Human Nutrition from University of North Carolina, Greensboro.
