Bob joined Bluestone Process Dynamics in 2013 as Chief Learning Officer. Bob’s primary focus is on helping clients to build the capabilities to achieve their business goals for today and into the future. Prior to joining Bluestone, Bob led global talent development at Genworth Financial, a company of more than 6500 employees in over 25 countries. Bob has worked in operations, employee relations and learning and development leadership roles for organizations in the financial services, retail, distribution and manufacturing industries as well as in local government and not-for-profit organizations. Bob enjoys working with organizations to develop the skills, knowledge and organizational culture to drive performance to new levels. In doing so, he:
- Considers the use of non-traditional training solutions, including action learning, learning blasts and social learning tools to drive skill development and business acumen
- Merges design, analytics and metrics to measure and drive business outcomes
- Scales successful development approaches to the global organization to enable quicker, improved operational responsiveness to market trends
Bob’s clients represent financial services, retail, pharmaceutical, biopharma/biomed, Federal government agencies, manufacturing, construction, aviation, insurance and engineering businesses. Bob has served as adjunct faculty for community colleges, worked on advisory councils for the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee and the University of Richmond, and has held Board positions with the Association for Talent Development, International Personnel Management Association and Junior Achievement of Central Virginia. Bob holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in business administration, among other professional certifications.
